Mary DiGiovanni Human Services Scholarship

The Mary DiGiovanni Human Services Scholarship honors the memory of Mary DiGiovanni, NECC Professor Emerita. A nurse with a master’s in community mental health, DiGiovanni founded the Human Services Program at Northern Essex Community College and served as its coordinator for three decades, until her retirement in 2001.The scholarship is awarded to a student exhibiting financial need that is enrolled in a human services program of study who has a 2.5 GPA or higher, at least 9 NECC credits earned and at least 6 credits registered for the upcoming fall semester.
