Dr. Ibrahim El-Hefni Technical Training Scholarship

The Dr. Ibrahim El-Hefni Technical Training Scholarship is awarded in honor of Dr. Ibrahim El-Hefni, who founded the Technical Training Foundation in 1985. Dr. El-Hefni, an immigrant from Egypt, worked every day for thirty years to build an extremely successful engineering company with only an initial investment of $3,000. He was a firm believer that education and hard work were the keys to success. This award is given to a student with financial need who is in a technical field of study, such as Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Nursing. The student should also have a 2.5 GPA or higher, at least 9 NECC credits earned and at least 6 credits registered for the upcoming fall semester.
